This disclaimer governs the use of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and other federal-government data, terminology, and references within the TactiFunds mobile application (the "App"), provided by Tristar Dynamics LLC.

1. Independent Product

TactiFunds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), or any other federal-government agency, department, office, or program.

TactiFunds is a privately developed, independently operated software product. References within the App to military pay grades, branches of service, allowances, benefits, regulations, programs, or terminology do not imply any official partnership, sponsorship, or government endorsement.

2. Use of Government Data and Terminology

The App uses publicly available federal-government data and military terminology to provide planning estimates and educational information to current and former service members and their families. This includes, but is not limited to:

These figures are drawn from authoritative public sources at the time the App is published. The selection, arrangement, and presentation of this data — together with the App's calculations, formulas, and user interface — are the proprietary intellectual property of Tristar Dynamics LLC. The underlying federal data itself is in the public domain.

3. Trademarks and Service Marks

Names of military branches, programs, ranks, and federal agencies referenced within the App (including but not limited to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, TRICARE, the Thrift Savings Plan, and the GI Bill) are used solely for identification and editorial reference. Such use is not intended to imply any sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

All trademarks, service marks, seals, insignia, and logos associated with the U.S. military and federal agencies are the property of their respective owners. TactiFunds does not display official seals, insignia, or branch logos within the App. Any visual references to military service (e.g., the App's mascot or branch-tier styling) are original creative work owned by Tristar Dynamics LLC.

4. Information Accuracy and Currency

DoD pay tables, BAH rates, BAS rates, COLA rates, VA disability rates, GI Bill rates, TRICARE costs, tax tables, and similar government-published figures change. They may change annually (e.g., basic pay raises effective January 1), mid-year (e.g., BAH adjustments), or retroactively.

Tristar Dynamics LLC makes commercially reasonable efforts to keep the App's reference figures current, but does not guarantee that any rate, table, or figure displayed in the App reflects the most recent authoritative source on the date you view it.

Always verify critical numbers against the relevant official source before acting on them. See Section 7 for authoritative sources.

5. Not Financial, Tax, Legal, or Professional Advice

The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, retirement, insurance, legal, accounting, real-estate, or career advice. All output of the App's calculators, planners, and projections — including but not limited to TSP projections, pension estimates, VA disability calculations, GI Bill benefit estimates, TRICARE costs, separation runway figures, debt-payoff schedules, BRS-vs-Legacy comparisons, and tax estimates — is a good-faith approximation based on data you provide and on publicly available federal information.

The App is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional who knows your full circumstances. Use of the App does not create a fiduciary, advisory, broker-dealer, investment-adviser, attorney-client, or accountant-client relationship between you and Tristar Dynamics LLC.

6. Estimates Only

Every dollar figure the App produces is an estimate. Actual amounts you receive — pay, allowances, disability compensation, GI Bill benefits, separation pay, terminal-leave value, leave sell-back value, retirement pension, and similar — depend on your specific orders, finance-personnel decisions, eligibility determinations, your tax situation, and many factors the App cannot know.

Tristar Dynamics LLC makes no representation that the App's outputs match what you will actually receive from DFAS, the VA, the IRS, or any other federal entity.

7. Authoritative Sources

For official, up-to-date information about military pay, allowances, benefits, and regulations, consult the issuing agency directly. The following are authoritative public sources:

Before making any consequential financial, tax, or career decision, consult a qualified professional such as a Personal Financial Counselor (PFC), CFP®, CPA, attorney, or VA-accredited representative.

8. Federal-Employee and Service-Member Use

This App is offered to the general public, including current and former service members. Use of the App on a personal device by a service member is permitted under DoD personal-use policies and is the responsibility of the user. The App is not approved for use on government-furnished equipment without authorization from the appropriate command, IT, or security authority.

Tristar Dynamics LLC makes no representation about whether use of the App on government systems complies with applicable Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) policies, command policies, or security requirements. Service members should consult their unit's IT/cybersecurity guidance before installing or using third-party software on government devices.

9. Hatch Act and Endorsement

Nothing in the App — including in marketing materials, the App Store listing, social media, the Feedback Board, or in-App content — constitutes a federal-government endorsement of any product, service, or political position. Service members in their official capacity are reminded that Department of Defense and Office of Government Ethics rules restrict commercial endorsements; nothing in the App should be construed as soliciting such endorsements.

10. Public-Domain Data; No Copyright Claim by Tristar Dynamics

Federal-government works (including DoD pay tables, VA benefit figures, IRS tables, and similar publications) are in the public domain under 17 U.S.C. § 105 and are not subject to copyright by Tristar Dynamics LLC. The App's selection, arrangement, presentation, calculations, formulas, code, design, and accompanying original content are the copyrighted intellectual property of Tristar Dynamics LLC.
